SIM RACING TERMINOLOGY

Sim racers have their own little lexicon, not surprisingly, which might confuse the newcomer. Foremost among the commonly-used acronyms is AI (as in Artificial Intelligence), a reference to the computer-controlled opponents. They may also be referred to as CCs (computer cars), as in "I was running fifth when a CC cut down on me and took me out ..."

Newbies to VROC, the online GPL racing service, should know that PO and PI refer to "Pit Out" and "Pit In," respectively, and that GLA before the race start is simply a friendly "Good luck all!"

As for the sims themselves, below are some frequently-encountered acronyms for various titles.
