SELECTED LINKS

There are almost uncountable sites on the Web where news and information, cars and car sets, setups, graphics updates, tools and utilities, and all sorts of good stuff can be found for all of the major racing sims. But regardless of your sim of choice, there are two sites which are indispensable to the sim racing fanatic: High Gear and The Pits. If you're going to make a pit stop on the Web, make it at these sites!

If Formula One sims are your primary interest, there's no better source for news, information, and files than F1 Racing Online. This superb site covers just about every major Formula One sim to date. Another nicely-updated F1 sim site, Formulasim, is also worth a look.

If you're interested in 3D acceleration information, you should visit The Guru of 3D, the source for hardware and software reviews, driver downloads, and so forth.

You also need to check out WinZip for convenient Windows-based ZIP file management and GetRight or Download Accelerator Plus to enable resumption of interrupted downloads. Frankly, these are must-haves if you're planning on downloading and using files from the Web.

Below are additional "general" sim-related sites which are excellent. Don't miss any of them!

Sim Racing Connection (various sims)
Racing Faction (various sims)
The StickWorks (utilities for PC game controllers)
Slottweak.com (how to fine tune your gaming hardware)
Lights Out Racing (Papyrus/Sierra sims)
