Below are my personal best laps from all of the native ICR2 circuits as well as Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the N2-converted Gateway International Raceway, and several N1-converted tracks. My qualifying setups for the native tracks and IMS are available in a single file which you can download. I've received very positive feedback on them, and I think they provide a very satisfying combination of speed and "controlled oversteer" which you also may find to your liking. Note that these can be fairly easily adapted to race setups with a few changes (tire compounds, fuel load, initial sway bar settings, and so forth). Also note, my best laps for Indianapolis and Long Beach were turned with different setups from those provided in this download.

I never did get around to working on my own setups for most of the converted circuits, so those times are probably less than optimal. Additionally, many of the laps below were turned some years ago using a joystick, which tends to result in inferior times when compared to a wheel/pedal combo (the use of which is indicated below in blue). Moreover, they were all turned with a Lola/Cosworth/Firestone combo, the package I used in this sim from the beginning, and other packages are (reportedly) preferable in some cases. I rarely sat down to concentrate on hotlapping; I have never adjusted weather conditions or turned off damage with the sole purpose of turning record times. Most of these simply came from testing and qualifying sessions. Remember - fast is nice, but consistent is everything! Qualification on the front row doesn't guarantee you'll finish the race.
