WHAT ARE EACH OF THE *.LP FILES FOR?

The LP files are what controls the computer cars (CCs) at each track; there are nine per track. According to Chip Taylor and Corey Rueckheim:

RACE.LP
Controls CCs under green when running by themselves

MAXRACE.LP & MINRACE.LP
Similar to RACE.LP; not known when they're used in place of RACE.LP

MAXPANIC.LP & MINPANIC.LP
Probably controls CCs when running very close to one another

PASS1.LP
Controls CCs under green when being passed on the left

PASS2.LP
Controls CCs under green when being passed on the right

PACE.LP
Controls CCs under yellow

PIT.LP
Controls CCs during pit stops
