Too many sites exist whose sole purpose is to provide files for GPL that anything I offered here would be redundant, so instead I'll simply point you to a couple sites where you'll find nearly everything you could possibly want for this sim. The essential ones: The Pits' GPL area, Legends of '67, and GPL++ The Addons (which provides suggestions of its own on which updates you should grab). From The Pits make sure you get, at the very least, the various patches (including the v1.2 patch, CPU speedfix and D3D patches if necessary, and The Pits' own Superpatch). Also essential in my opinion are Kari Ikonen's AI Tweaker utility, which will give you a chance to win a race against the big boys if you're not the best driver in the world, and Alison and Nate Hine's GPL Race Engineer. Innumerable updates including dashes (try The GPL Spares Factory), car graphics and 3DOs (e.g., GPLEA's cars, Dale Hillan's Honda RA300), program covers (e.g., those at Legends of '67), sounds (check out The Pits), and so forth have become available and it's really a matter of personal preference which (if any) you choose to use. Legends of '67 provides a great selection of authenticity updates in an easy-to-get format.
